What's my login id for online courses?

Your login id for MSU online courses is in the format firstname.lastname.first3numbersofSS#. This is all lowercase with no spaces. Use your name as you are registered.

Your password is your first name. If your first name is less than 4 letters, your password will be your last name. If
both your first and last name are fewer than 4 letters, your password will be both names combined, with no spaces.

An example of a login id would be: jennifer.roberts.451
Her password would be: jennifer

Using a supported browser, go to the login page. You will be prompted to type in your login id and password to enter
your courses.

Once you are logged in, be sure to change your initial password.
